He emigrated to Oregon in 1853, but removed thence to San Lorenzo, where his brothers�John and Washington�also settled, in 1854. He is a prominent farmer and fruit-grower, and one of the popular men of the county. Was first elected county Supervisor in 1865, and has represented the township ever since on the Board, with the exception of the years 1860 and 1870. He is in his 50th year.
