born at Richmond, Virginia, February 8, 1854, came to San Diego, California, May 
8, 1868. His occupation was formerly stock-raising, and is now deputy constable 
of San Diego Township, under Jos� Cota. He is a member of Coronado Lodge, No. 
328, I. O. O. F.
