	farmer, lives six miles from Folsom, and sixteen miles from 
Sacramento; owns five hundred acres of land; born in Canada in 1844; engaged in 
farming until 1869, then came to California via the Isthmus of Panama and 
settled in Sacramento County; moved to present location in the fall of 1878. He 
was married to Mary Pike in 1874; she was born in Ohio; they have one son. Post 
Office Routier.
