	Post Office, Walsh Station; lives nine miles from Sacramento, 
on the Jackson road; was born in Grizzly Flat, El Dorado County, in 1855; 
removed to this county in 1858, and has lived here ever since; was engaged in 
farming until 1877; since then he has been blacksmithing. He was married in 1878 
to Miss A. E. Newingham, who has borne him one son.
