	is a native of Germany. He came to this State in the 
pioneer year of 1852, and located in Sacramento County in 1859. Farming has 
engaged his attention for many years. Mr. Schwendemann has a farm of one hundred 
and nine acres, all of which is good land and well cultivated. His place is 
situated in Franklin Township. Post Office at Freeport, Sacramento County,
