	druggist, on the northwest corner of Sixth and K streets, 
Sacramento; was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1855, where he remained until 1875, 
engaged in the drug business; he then came to San Francisco, and in 1876 to 
Sacramento, where he embarked in the drug business at his present location. In 
1879, he married Miss Cornelia Ackley, a native of Sacramento.
