In San Francisco he followed his trade of tailor until 1877, in which year he crossed the bay and established himself in the same business in Oakland, being at 916 Broadway. Married, January 1, 1872, Miss Malvina Griepthal, a native of Prussia, and has three children, viz.: Bertha, Carrie, and Abraham Moses. History of Alameda County, California�, Oakland, M.W.
