	Farmer; Post Office,---- ; owns one hundred and sixty acres 
of land; born in Kentucky in 1821; went to Missouri in 1825; lived there until 
1851; then came to California. Married Rachel Evans of Missouri in 1842; she 
died in 1873, leaving one son and three daughters. Mr. Williams was a slave for 
thirty years.
