	lives ten miles from Sacramento and two miles from Florin, his 
Post Office; was born in England in 1851, and lived there until 1872. He 
emigrated to the United States in that year, and was engaged in farming in New 
York until 1874; he then came to California, and settled in this county, where 
he has since been engaged in farming. His parents are still living in England.
