FRANK M. NOTTAGE.  Son of Samuel F. and Mary F. Hamlin Nottage, was born in Chelsea, Suffolk 
County, Massachusetts, August 12, 1855, and resided there until March, 1878, and received his 
education in the meantime, graduating from the Chelsea High School in 1873. He came to California in 
the last mentioned year, and became associated with Joshua Frye, and in August, 1880, he became an 
equal partner with him in the general merchandise business which they are conducting at Rutherford, 
tinder the firm name of Frye & Nottage. He is unmarried.
