The two photos are of the Memorial Stone Bench dedicated to the Grand Army of the Republic, erected May 30 1913 by the Sherman Circle post 41 of the "Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic" based out of the City of Monterey. First photo is of the dedication marble inlay that was placed in the middle of the upper seat section. The second photo is the Memorial bench and flag pole flanked by urns, at EL ENCINAL CEMETERY (aka Monterey city cemetery) on Lake El Estero in the City of Monterey, Monterey County, CA.
