BASHLINE, GEORGE A (1849-1929) SALINAS IOOF “Garden of Memories” Cemetery (Salinas Index Journal Oct 7, 1929) George A. Bashline Dies in Watsonville George A Bashline well known old-time Salinas resident, died yesterday in Watsonville, according to word received here this morning. The deceased was a widower and is survived by two sons and one daughter. He was the father of Samuel T. Bashline, chief of police in Pacific Grove, J.R. Bashline, of Watsonville, and Mrs. OA Perry of Watsonville. The deceased’s body was brought to Salinas this afternoon and his funeral will be held at 2:00 o’clock tomorrow afternoon from the Salinas funeral parlors, west San Luis street, with burial in Odd Fellows’ cemetery. Buried next to Wife : Elizabeth J. Bashline.
