The Blue and Gray
  The funeral of the late Judge NJ Galloway was solemnized yesterday from the Presbyterian 
church in Castroville.  There was a large attendance of his old friends and relatives.  An unique 
feature of the service was the fraternal participation of ex-union and ex-confederate veterans.  
Three of the former and the same number of the latter acted as pall bearers.  There seventeen 
members of Gen. Jas. B. Steedman post in attendance at the funeral.
