Warner, an old resident of this city, was found dead in bed this afternoon at his home, Sixteenth and Union streets. He was about as usual yesterday, but was not feeling well, and a physician informed Mr. Warner that he was suffering with high blood pressure and heart disease. Death evidently occurred during the night as the body was cold when neighbors discovered the remains after becoming suspicious by his absence from the street. He had lived alone since the death of his wife a couple of years ago. For many years he conducted the Beach photo studio and was known to thousands of Pacific Grove residents and visitors. He was a native of Michigan, and a veteran of the Civil War. A niece residing at Watsonville has been summoned to the Grove to arrange for the funeral.
