SPEER CLAIMES MISS GLADYS EUDORA DREW AS BRIDE Miss Gladys Eudora Drew, who for four years was a popular teacher to the Sherman Heights school, became the bride of John D. Speer of Escondido in a pretty home wedding at the residence of Mrs. G. Eisenmayer, Twentyseventh and E streets , yesterday. The ring ceremony was used, the nuptial bonds being tied by the Rev. W.E. Crabtree. The parlor of the Eisenmayer residence was beautifully decorated with smilax and sweet peas, while in the center of the room was a canopy under which the ceremony was preformed. The Mendelssohn wedding march was rendered by Mrs. Ralph Conklin, a daughter of Mrs. Eisenmayer. The ceremony was witnessed by a few of the closer relatives and friends. At the conclusion of the formal ceremony Miss Martha Marquardt sang "Oh Promise Me". Refreshments were served, after which the couple left for a short honeymoon tour. Upon thrir return they will reside at Escondido. The bride formerly resided at Nestor, and is a graduate of the state normal school.
