ACTIS, Joe - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in the 
Chapel of Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara Mortuary for Joe Actis, 69, Mojave, 
who died Feb. 26. Howard D. Finch, past president of Bakersfield Aerie 93, 
FOE, will officiate. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. The deceased 
was a native of Italy and had lived in Kern County the past 42 years. He 
owned and operated a motel and auto court in Mojave for 25 years. He was a 
member of the Eagles and the Dante Alighieri lodge. Survivors include his 
wife Marie; two sons, Tony and Reno, all of Mojave; two daughters, Mrs. 
Mary Killian of San Francisco and Mrs. Stella Franklin of Washington, D. C. ; 
eight grandchildren and one brother, Batista Actis of Torino, Italy.
