Charlie served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired production supervisor for Mark Container in San Leandro. Enjoyed camping, being in the outdoors and gardening. He played guitar with the "Los Tres Gallos" band and enjoyed skydiving with the "Sky Larks". Beloved husband of 42 years to Barbara Aguirre. Loving father and father-in-law to Charles and Susan Aguirre Jr. Cherished grandfather of Charly and Delicia; great grandfather of two. Loving brother of Frank, Tony, Linda, Ricardo and Joe. Uncle of many nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held Friday, 9 - 11 a.m. at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. A chapel service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery, Fremont.
