Friends, family mourn Ingrid Marie Ahl at 82
SOUTH GATE-Funeral services will be held today (Friday, Jan. 12) at 11 a.m. at the Miller-Mies Mortuary 
Chapel for Ingrid Marie Ahl, a South Gate resident and former employee of the Los Angeles Unified School 
District. 
She was 82, born in Tyler, Minnesota, and died Jan. 5 at the Downey Regional Medical Center. 
She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church of South Gate. 
Survivors include her husband, Wayne H. Ahl of South Gate; her son, Henry Lewis Ahl of Downey; her 
daughter, Katherine Forster; a son-in-law, Pat Forster; grandsons Jens and Larry Forster; granddaughter 
Ann Forster, all of San Juan Capistrano; brothers Alfred Jensen of Bloomington, Minnesota, Herluf Jensen 
of Worthington, Minnesota; sisters Elin Miller of Freeborn, Minnesota, Alma Schneider of St. Paul, 
Minnesota; and 16 nieces and nephews. 
Pastor Maxine Hall will officiate. 
Burial will follow at Forest Lawn in Cypress. 
Friends may visit today from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Miller-Mies Mortuary Chapel.
