Funeral services today for David L. Allison
DOWNEY-Funeral services will be held today (Friday, Aug. 6) at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church 
of Downey for David L. Allison, a retired teacher for 30 years at Downey's Warren High School, who 
lived in Redding. 
He was 74, born in Whittier, and died July 31 in Redding. 
Survivors include his sons, Paul and Marshall Allison; brothers George and Paul Allison; sisters Agnes 
Nusement, Barbara Van Vliet and seven grandchildren. 
He was preceded in death by sister Frieda Schell. 
Pastor Gordon Venturella will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements 
are by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
