Betty J. Andrews, 67, of Imperial Beach died Thursday. She was born in New 
Mexico and was a cashier at various grocery stores.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda A. Comito of Honolulu, Karen S. 
Hari of Glendale, Ariz., Jo I. Daines of San Diego, Mary A. Crawford of 
Temecula, and Susan Andrews of Elkhorn, Wis.; sons, Michael Petersen of 
Converse, Texas, V. Alan Petersen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Charles 
A. Andrews of Bellingham, Wash.; sisters, Virginia Harens of Elkhorn and 
Edith Burford of Clovis; brother, Vernon Welty of California; 13 
grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.
Visitation: 11 a.m. to noon today, Greenwood Mortuary, Interstate 805 and 
Imperial Avenue, San Diego. Services: 2 p.m. today, St. James Lutheran 
Church, 866 Imperial Beach Blvd., Imperial Beach.
