Nathaniel Artis Sr., 46, of El Cajon died Dec. 21. He was born in Norfolk, 
Va. Mr. Artis worked as a warehouseman.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra N. Artis; daughter, Shirlee M. Artis of 
El Cajon; son, Nathaniel Artis Jr. of El Cajon; sisters, Shirlee M. Gates 
of San Diego, Mary S. Dupree and Floretta L. Parker of Norfolk, Va.; 
brothers, Samuel Artis Jr. and William Artis of Norfolk, Va.
Services: 1 p.m. tomorrow, Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary, 5050 Federal Blvd., 
San Diego.
