Bertie Alma Attebery, 91, passed away July 27, 1998 in Arvin, California. 
She was born November 26, 1906 in Alco, Arkansas. She was a' homemaker for 
73 years.

She is survived by daughters Jean Colvin and Ramona Spain, both of Seabeck,
WA, Jo Ellen Griffin of Powder Lake, TX; son Clarence Dan Attebery of Boron, 
CA; brothers Dee W. Massey of Gridley, CA, Gale Massey of Gridley, CA; sister 
Stella Kirkendal of Craine, TX, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husband Oren in 1974, granddaughter Jerry 
Ellen Day in 1996 and son Oren Benjamin Attebery in 1943.

Visitation was held Thursday, July 30, 1998 at Stickel Mortuary in Mojave. 
Funeral services were held July 31, 1998 at The First Baptist Church in Boron, 
CA, interment followed at Tehachapi Cemetery Eastside, Tehachapi, CA.
