Former California City resident, Olinto �Lindy� Bellettini, passed away in 
Reseda, California on August 2, 2004 of natural causes. He was born on 
February 23, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York and served in the U.S. Army during 
WW II at Pearl Harbor. He owned and operated the �Sons of Italy,� and a limo 
service out of Edwards AFB. He ran for mayor of California City in 1997.

He is survived by his wife Joan whom he married in 1999; son Olinto Bellettini 
Jr. and a granddaughter Katelin Bellettini, both of New York.

Pursuant to the family�s request, no services will be held.
