Fred Bender, 87, of Ramona died Thursday. Mr. Bender, who was born in La 
Crosse, Kan., was a retired carpenter. He enjoyed bowling and ice skating.
Survivors include his wife, Stella; daughter, Sharon A. Bender of Clinton, 
Tenn.; sisters, Irene Riddle of Santee, Esther Baroni of Vista, Marie 
Roberts of Buford, Texas, Hilda Marsh of Lakeside and Elsie Bender of San 
Diego; and brother, Clarence Bender of La Mesa.
Services: 5 p.m. today, Neighborhood Baptist Church, 838 Hanson Lane, 
Ramona, with visitation one hour before. Donations: to the church.
Arrangements: Bonham Bros. and Lee Mortuary.
