Source Unknown; 22 Jun 1950 In Memorium Donald Bennett, proprietor or the cafe at Juanita's, passed away last Sunday night, June 18, at the Mojave hospital after a two day illness, though he had not been well for a period of 10 years. Donald Bennett was born in Champaigne, Ill., in October of 1909. He had never married. Surviving him are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thurm Bennett of 820 N. Randolph St., Champaigne, Ill., a sister, Mrs. Jean Bates of Indianapolis, Ind., and a younger brother, Morry Bennett, of Rosamond. Morry will accompany the remains to Champaigne, where the funeral services will be held and interment take place.
