Ida Mae Berry mourned by friends and family
DOWNEY-Funeral services for Ida Mae Berry, a longtime Downey resident, will 
be held at 2 p.m. today (Friday, Oct. 4) at the Southern Baptist Church, 12382 
Downey Ave.
A native of Bickville, Texas, she died Sept. 28.

She was preceded in death by husband, Earl Joseph Berry.

Survivors include her daughters, Geraldine Griffith of Lake Isabella, Jacqueline 
Morel of Hemet; a son, Earl J. Berry of El Monte; seven grandchildren, 11 great-
grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

Burial will follow at the Downey District Cemetery. Arrangements were by the 
Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
