Born August 19, 1918 in Evergreen, California, she was 84 years old. She was a Fremont resident for 84 years and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking, but most of all she loved to take care of and spend time with her family. She was a member of the Golden West, Betsy Ross Chapter, Y.L.I., S.P.R., S.I., and the U.P.P.E.C. Rose is survived be her husband Serephine Joseph Bettencourt of Fremont and she is the loving mother of Sister Carol Bettencourt of SHF of Reno and Richard Bettencourt of Tracy. Loving grandmother of 2 grandsons John Bettencourt of Pleasanton and Paul Bettencourt of Elk Grove. She is the daughter of the late Manuel and Rosie Estacio and dearest sister of Edward Estacio, Albert Estacio, Helen Barnette, Dolores Little and Alberta Azevedo. Also the late Joseph Estacio, Antone Estacio, Lawrence Estacio, Alfred Estacio, Robert Estacio, Mary Bernardo and Rosie Estacio. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services, Friday, August 30, at 10 AM at Berge-Pappas-Smith Mortuary, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA. We will then proceed to Holy Spirit Catholic Church for 11:00 am Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Mortuary on Thursday from 2 PM to 8 PM with a Evening Service being held at 7 PM.
