Appeal Democrat, January 31, 1979

Emma A. Blevins, a 52-year resident of this area died yesterday at Rideout Hospital. 
She was 85. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she made her home here at 4162 Railroad Ave., 
Yuba City. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Harvey Schmidt of Yuba City, Mrs. 
William Albin of Sacramento and Mrs. Wesley Amesbury of Sanger; 11 grandchildren 
and 25 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Ullrey 
Memorial Chapel with Rev. Harry Vise of the First United Methodist Church of Marysville 
officiating. Burial will be at Sutter Cemetery.
