Dorothy May Boeckel laid to rest at 85
DOWNEY-A Funeral Mass was heard Feb. 4 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for Dorothy 
May Boeckel, a resident of Downey for 26 years, and a homemaker for 65 years. 
She was 85, born in York, Pennsylvania, Jan. 23, 1912, and died at Rivera Nursing Home Jan. 29. 
She was previously a resident of Compton, and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Boeckel 
in 1964. 
Survivors include her son, Harry Boeckel of Downey; and a sister in Florida. 
The Reverend Father John Moloney officiated. Burial followed in All Souls Cemetery, Long Beach. 
Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
