All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. Source Unknown; Date Unknown Agnes Buchanan passed away in Morro Bay, California on August 2, 2001. She was born April 8, 1904 in Glasgow, Scotland. Mrs. Buchanan, who came to the United States in 1965, was a longtime resident of California City moving here in 1971. She lived with her daughter, Helen Honeycutt and her husband, Odis at the time of her death. Also surviving Mrs. Buchanan are grandson Alexander Honeycutt and his wife Melanie, and great grandson, Harrison Honeycutt, all of California City; granddaughter Julie Bosgraaf, her husband Fred and their four children, Kristin, Cody, Austin and Jenna of Mulvane, Kansas. She was active in several organizations in California City and was a member of the Community Church. A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Buchanan's life will be held September 9, 2001 at the Community Church at 1 p.m. The family plans a trip to Scotland in April 2002 to take her ashes home.
