Butler DOWNEY-A memorial service is set tomorrow (Saturday, May 8), at 11 a.m., at the Rose Hills Rainbow Chapel for Delma M. Butler, a Downey resident for 45 years, and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born June 19, 1913, in Cleveland, Ohio, and worked for the U.S. Government (Navy and Air Force) in California, plus 20 years in private industry. She retired in 1978. She was the eldest daughter of Elizabeth and Edward Marion, the sister of Winiford and Francis Marion, and a mother of five. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Charles; a son, Chuck; two daughters, Joan and Marie; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
