He was born in Guam. Mr. Charfauros was retired after being self-employed. He served as a sergeant in the Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Guam Club of San Diego and the Agat Social Club of California. Survivors include his wife, Liduvina S. Charfauros; daughter, Virginia R. Yniguez of Salinas; sons, Daniel R. Charfauros of San Diego, Tommy T. Charfauros of Monterey, and Raymond M. Charfauros and James V. Charfauros of Salinas; stepdaughter, Brenda A. Marriott of Guam; stepson, Rodolfo L. Torres of San Diego; parents, Virginia B. and Pedro C. Charfauros of Guam; sisters, Lydia McClelland and Consuelo Aguon of Guam; brother, Felix B. Charfauros of Seaside; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation: noon to 9 p.m. today, Community Mortuary, 855 Broadway, Chula Vista, with rosary at 7 p.m. Services: 9 a.m. tomorrow, St. Rita's Catholic Church, San Diego.
