Services Monday for educator Moses Chavez
LONG BEACH-Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at Saint Cyprian Catholic Church, 
4832 Clark Ave., Long Beach, for Moses P. Chavez, a former longtime educator for the Downey Unified 
School District, who died Tuesday, Oct. 14. 
He was a former principal at Downey High School. An award is given in his name by the school annually.
