Raymond C. "Chris" Christiansen passed away October 8, 1996 at Antelope Valley 
Hospital in Lancaster. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 20, a 
the Veterans of Foreign Wars in California City at 1 1 a.m. followed by a potluck 
luncheon.
"Chris� Christiansen was born February 8, 1934 in Mills, Wyoming, the son of 
Ramus Christiansen, who preceded him in death, and Etta Christiansen Sims. Before 
moving to California City nine years ago, he lived many years in Riverton, Wyoming.
He is survived by his mother Etta and his sisters Emily Harris, Melda Leimbach, 
Dorothy St. John and Millie Kortwright; by his three sons Rick, Terry and Randy 
and numerous grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
