All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. Source Unknown; Date Unknown Patricia Ann Christopher, 63, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 1997 of lung cancer. Patricia is survived by her husband James Christopher; three sons Jed of Los Angeles, Dennis and wife Shelia of Arlington, Texas, and mark and wife Lora of Tehachapi; grandchildren Denny, Kelly and Shuna of Texas; and Beth and Joey of Tehachapi. Pat is also survived by stepmother Ada Edwards of Missouri; and half-brother David Minnicks and half-sisters Gloria Minnick and Margaret Martinas of Kansas. Pat and Jim moved to Rosamond in 1985 following Jim's retirement at Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank to be near Jim's parents Mr. and Mrs. John Christopher. Pat and Jim became active in helping the Rosamond Senior Citizens by aiding in the Food Bank each month. Pat instructed crafts for the seniors as well as the Rosamond Women's Club of which she was also a member. Patricia was adept in crafts, tinted-glass art, plus knitting and was an excellent cook and cake decorator. She also enjoyed flower gardening. Pat and Jim were married on May 6,1950 and were planning their 47th anniversary on the day of her death. Pat was born in North Hollywood on February 17, 1934. She attended Victory Elementary School, Roscoe Grammar School, North Hollywood and Verdugo Hills High Schools. She was laid to rest at the Joshua Memorial nark in Lancaster.
