Verda Mary Claytor of Downey dead at age of 92
DOWNEY-Memorial Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Lord's 
Grace Church of Downey for Verda Mary Claytor, a longtime resident of 
Downey who died Oct. 24 in Santa Fe Springs.

She was 92, born Jan. 21, 1904 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma, and had 
lived in the Los Angeles area for 60 years.

Survivors include daughters Movalee Gibson of Grass Valley, Jeannine 
Baker of Hemet, Wanda Tanner of Santa Fe Springs; six grandchildren, 
13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation took place prior to services. Arrangements were by the 
Allen-English & Estrada Funeral Service in Bell Gardens.
