Vigil service held for Angelena Collantes
DOWNEY-A vigil service was held Monday, March 1, at the Zrelak Family Mortuary Chapel for 
Angelena Collantes, a 12 year resident of Paramount and a member of St. Raymond's Catholic Church 
of Downey, who died Feb. 22 at the Lakewood Regional Medical Center. 
She was 78, a homemaker for 48 years, and a former resident of Bellflower. 
Survivors include her husband, Ambrosio (Bocho) Collantes; her sons, Orland Pilon of Riverside and 
Robert and Joey Pilon; a daughter, Sandra Jimeno of Mission Viejo; siblings Mary Aralano, and Daniel 
and Joseph Perez. 
The Rev. Father Madrigal officiated. Private cremation followed. Arrangements were by the Downey 
Zrelak Family Mortuary.
