Alice Mary Cone, 88, passed away Dec. 6 at her home in Tehachapi.

Alice was born Oct. 31, 1916 in Willimantic, Conn. to Frank and Mary Pobuda.

Alice married Albert Cone on Nov. 18, 1956 in North Hollywood. Upon his death, 
she returned to Connecticut where she worked 19 years as an accounts receivable 
clerk for a retail clothing firm.

After her retirement, Alice moved to Tehachapi in 1980 to be near family. 
She thoroughly enjoyed paying bingo and looked forward to her every-Wednesday 
outing with friends that always included lunch at Denny�s. 

She was a lover of cats, especially her companions Gray and Toby.

Alice is survived by her cousin, Edith Knight of Tolland, Conn.; special friends 
Vicki Weeks, Beverly Desmond, Patty Costa and JoAnne Munguia; and caregiver Diane 
Frederickson.

Wood Family Funeral Service handled the cremation arrangements
