On July 28, 2001, Doris Russell Cook passed away in Bakersfield. She was the wife 
of the late Robert C. Cook of Mojave and mother of late Eddie Cook and Ricky Cook.
Mrs. Cook was born in Tallahassee, Fl. on Dec. 28, 1920, to Eulie and Jessie Lee 
Russell.
She is survived by a dear friend John Muntz, a son Ronnie Cook and daughter 
Renee' Cook-Scott, two grand-daughters, one great granddaughter and a host of 
nieces and nephews from Florida, West Virginia, Arizona and California. Also the 
family of her late brother, Joe Russell, of Lancaster.
Doris and Bob lived in Mojave for many years and all their children graduated 
from Mojave High School.
She was a gentle and caring lady and we will miss her, but we are thankful for 
the wonderful memories we have of our time spent with her.
