REDDING -- Verna Elizabeth Cummings, 93, of Redding died Friday, June 23, 
2006, at Lakewood Christian Care Home in Redding. 

Born Nov. 2, 1912, in Allentown, Pa., she moved to Shasta County in 1999 from 
Pennsylvania. 

She worked as a secretary. 

Survivors include son Robert Cannon of Redding; daughters Connie Palkki of 
Weaverville and Karen Pfeifer of Anchorage, Alaska; and two grandchildren. 

Arrangements are being handled by McDonald's Redding Chapel.
