"Sunni," 72, passed away on July 15, 2009, in Apple Valley. Norma was born June 11, 1937, in Washington. She was a resident of Apple Valley for nine years. Sunni has been a devoted Baha'i for 48 years. She served the Baha'i faith in Puerto Rico and many states such as Michigan, Kentucky and California. She is survived by her daughter Jerri-Rene DaVar Howard and her husband, Brian, of Michigan; grandsons Michael DaVar Howard and Mathew Carter Howard; brother James Clayton Jenne of Washington; and niece Faith Anne Nelson of California. Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Road, in Apple Valley. Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
