"Billie" Deuschle, 93, passed away on September 19, 2004 in Dinuba, California. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Mojave. Burial to take place at Mojave Cemetery. Billie was born in Jaba, South Dakota. She graduated from college with a teaching credential in the 1930s and taught in a one room school house in South Dakota. In 1937, she married Otto Deuschle. They moved their family to California in 1955 where Otto had accepted a teaching job. She was a member of the Community Congregation Church in Mojave and was also active in their senior citizens group. She was predeceased by her husband Otto and son Steven Deuschle. She is survived by her daughter Judy Gregory and her husband Don of Dinuba; 2 grandchildren, Hollis Magill of Fowler, California and Devin Gregory of Long Beach, California; 3 great-grandchildren, Ethan and Griffin Magill of Fowler and Cameron Gregory of Long Beach. Mojave Desert News; 2 Dec 2004 Memorial service for Billie Deuschle Saturday Long-time Mojave resident SPECIAL TO THE DESERT NEWS MOJAVE � A Memorial Service and Luncheon for longtime Mojave resident, Billie Deuschle, will be held at the Community Congregational Church at 2240 Belshaw, Mojave California on Saturday November 20th.2004 At 12:00 noon Billie, Born March 17, 1911, was a South Dakota native, and lived in Mojave 40 years before moving in 2000 to Dinuba, California with her daughter Judy Gregory. She died September 19 at the age of 93 of natural causes. Her husband Otto Deuschle, a former science and business instructor at Mojave High School, and son Steven preceded her in death. She leaves daughter Judy (Don) Gregory, 2 grandchildren, Devin and Holly, and 3 great grandchildren. Please join family and friends in celebrating Billie's Life.
