Born October 14, 1915 in Irvington, CA, he was 86 years old and a life long Fremont resident. He was a W.W.II Veteran in the 103rd Army Infantry serving in the Phillipines &New Guinea. He enjoyed golf, baseball, the camaraderie of team sports, and going to Spring Training. He also like to go for long drives appreciating all the nature had to offer. Edward was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Native sons of the Golden West #169. Beloved husband of the late Bette Rose. Loving father of JoElyn Rose of Fremont. Dearest brother of Lawrence Rose &Daniel Rose both of Fremont. Family and friends are invited to attend a vigil service Thursday, November 8, 2001 @ 7:30 PM held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, with visitation form 2:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 9, 2001 @ 10:00 AM at the Mortuary followed by a 11:00 AM mass at Holy Spirit Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery.
