	A longtime resident of Newark, Calif., passed away peacefully in 
Fremont, Calif., at age 89, on July 3, 2005. Predeceased by her husband 
of 63 years, Luther Emmett, her son, Wayne Emmett, and grandchildren, 
Donald Emmett and Susan Silva. Mrs. Emmett is survived by her children, 
Billy Emmett of Santa Maria, Calif.; Connie Dunckelmann of San Jose, Calif.; 
Shirley Emmett-Murray of Fremont, Calif.; and Janice (Stanley) Marshall of 
Sparks, Nev. She was the beloved grandmother of nine, great-grandmother 
of fourteen and great-great-grandmother of three. Family and friends are 
invited to attend visitation on Thursday, July 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 
at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, Calif. Funeral 
services will be held Friday, July 8, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial 
and reception will follow.
