FATHER TIME TAKES MOJAVE RESIDENT
Mrs. Mary Leila Etter of 323 M Street, loving wife of Leon Etter and daughter of Mrs. 
Nettie Touchstone, died at her home April 16th.	
A resident of this community for the past 14 years she was born in Cappish County, 
Miss., March 6, 1891. She is survived by her mother Mrs. Nettie Touchtone and her 
husband Mr. Leon Etter.
The funeral was held on Monday, April 19 at the O'Donnell Funeral Home with the 
Rev. John Hanschett officiating, interrment was in the Mojave cemetery.
It will be many a long day before the early shoppers in Mojave will realize that one 
of its best loved citizens has passed on to her reward.
For many years these shoppers have been accustomed to see the cheerful and 
smiling countenances of Mrs. Touchstone and her daughter, Mamie Etter purchasing 
their daily grocery supplies and some have even said it would not seem like Mojave
if they had not that day met these two fine ladies in the course of their travels.
