Fichter Funeral to be held Sunday
Funeral services for R. M. Fichter prominent Sutter county resident who died Jan 3 
while on trip in the east to visit relatives will be held Sunday at 1 pm from the 
Sutter City Community church with interment in the Sutter City cemetery. The body 
of Fichter accompanied by his son Milton, arrived this morning from Dover, New J
ersey being brought here from Roseville by Jones & Ullrey who have charge of the 
arrangements.

Funeral services for the late Richard M Fichter pioneer farmer and merchant of Sutter 
County held at 1 pm yesterday attracted a throng of friends that filled the church. 
Rev. P. E. Pederson pastor of the church conducted the services E. S. Wadsworth and 
Leo A Wadsworth sang sacred numbers. Interment was made in the Sutter Cemetery 
under the direction of Jones and Ullrey
