Mojave resident, Henry P. Flores passed away on December 6, 2003 in Lancaster, 
California. He was born on August 23, 1924 in Los Angeles, California. Hank was 
an employee of Southern Pacific Railroad for 35 years until his retirement in 
1978. He was honorably discharged from the Army Air Corp after serving from 1943 
to 1946. 
He was predeceased by his wife Ruth Valadez Flores in 1978, son John R. Flores 
in 1975, brother Louis G. Flores in 1998, and sister Mary Lou Pulos in 2000. 
Henry is survived by sons, Gabe Flores of Mojave, Rueben Flores of Bakersfield, 
California, Mark Flores of Mojave, five grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services were held on December 10 at St. Francis Church in Mojave.
