Margaret Mae Freisen, 88, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 
St. Mary Regional Hospital, due to medical complications. 

She was a one year resident of Rock Spring Retirement, living in Apple 
Valley, after losing her beloved husband Arnold of 65 years. She was a 
25-year resident of Victorville. 

She volunteered for many years at Long Beach Community Hospital as 
a "pink lady." She also volunteered for many years at Samaritan Helping 
Hand in Victorville. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Barry and Lynn Friesen 
of Santa Monica; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Tom Graham of 
Victorville; grandson and wife Brian and Shannon Gerke of Victorville; 
grandson and wife Andrew and Heather Gerke of Hesperia; four great-
granchildren, Craig and Carter Gerke and Noah and Emily Gerke. She 
leaves behind countless friends and will greatly be missed by all, but 
never forgotten. 

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2009 at Victor Valley 
Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Victor Valley Memorial Park. 
Victor Valley Mortuary is handling all the arrangements.
