Source Unknown; Date Unknown BORON � A memorial mass was held Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boron for Alonzo Joseph Fruge, III, of Boron, who passed away Monday in a Lancaster hospital. Mr. Fruge was born August 4, 1924, in loda, Louisiana, and moved to Boron in 1977. He was a clinical laboratory director. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Fruge was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He is survived by a daughter, Roxanne Lanier Frasier of Bakersfield, and sons Michael of Portland, Oregon, Patrick of San Francisco, Troy of Redmond, Oregon, Tom of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Kelly of Boron. Alonzo Joseph Fruge' III, 75, died Saturday, November 27, 1999. at Antelope Valley Hospital. He was born August 8, 1924, loda, Louisiana. He has been residing in Boron, California since 1977. Alonzo was a WWII Navy vet, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He worked as a Clinical Lab Director and was a member of St. Joseph Church. Alonzo was survived by 6 sons, Kelly Carlyle Fruge', of Boron; Michael Lynn Fruge', of Portland, Oregon; Patrick Lamont Fruge', of San Francisco; Troy Jerome Fruge', of Redrnond, Oregon; Tom Gilbert Fruge', of Flagstaff, Arizona; and Marc Tracey Fruge', of Orofino, Idaho. 1 daughter, Roxanne Lanier Fowler, of Bakersfield. 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Mass was held on Decernber_2,,_1^99 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Church with Father Gracey presiding. Services provided by Stickel Mortuary.
