Source Unknown; Date Unknown Feb. 17, 1919 Aug. 17, 2004 Clifford (Jack) Robert Frye was born Feb. 17, 1919, in Paragoad, Ark., to Nobie Huffine and Harvey Frye and passed away Aug. 17. He lived in the senior citizen mobile park in Tehachapi for the last 10 years of his life. His family and friends all enjoyed his smile, his jokes and the wonderful country music they heard him sing and play. He called himself, "Clifford Frye, the one-man band from Tehachapi land." Clifford leaves behind three sons, David, Jack and Richard Frye by his first wife, Jules; daughters-in-law Bobbie and Joann Frye and many grandchildren to the fifth generation. He also leaves behind his present wife, Matilde Marta Frye and six stepsons, Paul, Fabian, Robert, Anthony, Leonard and Richard Gutierrez; and three stepdaughters, Cathy Martel, Margie Medellin and Lizi Gutierrez. Clifford was a loving, tenderhearted father and grandpa to each of his children and grandchildren and they will all miss him very much. The Gutierrez family members come from the Greater Bay area, Oakland, Tracy, Concord, San Ramon and Manteca, as well as from Austin, Texas, and 29 Palms.
